About me

Hi, I’m Cerys, a qualified counsellor and life coach offering support online and in-person in Cardiff. I work with people who are navigating change, feeling overwhelmed, or simply looking to reconnect with themselves in a more meaningful way.

Before stepping into private practice, I spent many years working in the charity sector. My background includes mentoring young people and young adults, key working, and supporting those experiencing homelessness, including time as a deputy manager at a day centre. These roles deeply shaped my values and strengthened my belief in the power of being heard, respected, and supported without judgment.

I’m trained in BA (Hons) Counselling and Therapeutic Practice, and I also hold professional training in Life Coaching. As an Integrative Pluralistic Therapist, I take a flexible, collaborative approach that’s tailored to each individual I work with. Whether through counselling or coaching, my aim is always to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported to grow in your own way.

People often describe me as calm, kind, and encouraging. I bring a grounded presence to sessions, helping you explore at your own pace whether that’s untangling emotions, working toward a goal, or making sense of your experiences.

Outside of work, I love to adventure and travel, to spend time in nature, and walk my very mischievous sausage dog. I also love creativity. Music and photography are just a few of the ways I recharge and express myself. Reading and reflection are a big part of my life, they help me stay connected to the work I do and the people I support.

If you’re curious about working together, I offer a free 15-minute discovery call. Whether you’re considering counselling or coaching, I’d be happy to answer your questions and help you decide if this feels like the right step for you.
